Well That Was Easy Well That Was Easy
Completed the mission “Shoot This Guy in the Face”

During the main story progression, you will need to pass through “Thousend Cuts”. Once you arrive in this area you will see a quest marker on your map. If you head to the marker you will find a bandit who wants you to shoot him in the face. This is a rather odd request, but once you kill the bandit this quest will be complete and this will unlock.

Thresher Thrashed Thresher Thrashed
Defeated Terramorphous the Invincible

To complete this side quest, you will first need to complete the last main story quest called “Talon of God”. Once you complete this story quest, you then need to return Sanctuary. Once you return, talk to Tannis and she will offer you the quest “You will Die, (Seriously)”. Once you have this mission, just follow the marker to the Terramorphuous den, you will need 4 Eridium to enter, so don’t spend all of it on the black market prior to entering, or you will have to go find some more.

Once you reach Terramorphous, be prepared for an extremely difficult fight. This is the games true end boss fight which is an extremely tough enemy. You will need to be at least level 50, and possibly have some other players help take down this beast. There’s not too much advice you really need other than come prepared.

The only real advice you need to know coming into this fight is that you need a high capacity shield, high damage weapons, at least level 50 to obtain these items and have fully maxed heath. From here all you have to do is inflict as much damage as you can by shooting the Terramorpuous’s eyes and avoid it’s attacks. You may die several times due to being hit out of the arena.

If you’re attempting this alone, good luck. But if you’re playing with friends, this will be a lot easier. The video below will give you an example of what to expect from this fight.

Reach level 25

Capped Out…For Now
Reach level 50

Reaching level 50 may seem quite daunting to being with, but with the new Vault Hunter Mode you will reach level 50 by the time you get to the end of your second playthrough. You may even hit it well before if you complete the various side missions for loot and rewards. You will need to earn around 3.4 million xp to reach this level, but it will come quickly for those who are active and taking part in as many quests as possible. If you are around 40-45 get a group of friends or a lvl 50 and do Hyperion Slaughter to farm the rest.

World Traveler
Discover all named locations

Throughout the world of Pandora there are 92 locations in total. You will need to uncover the whole map in each new area you enter, this includes inside the various buildings you enter. When you enter a new area, make sure you explore everywhere and uncover the map. If there are any parts that seem to be covered by a dark shroud, head there and explore until it uncovers.

If you’re not sure if the areas you’re entering are fully uncovered, the white lines around your map are a good indication. You should see a solid white line around every part of each map. This should unlock once you uncover the last location, but if you happen to miss any areas, just fast travel back when you’re ready. This can be done at any point, also uncovering areas in others games counts towards this.

Went Five Rounds
Complete Round 5 of any Circle of Slaughter

You will first encounter the Circle of Slaughter while exploring “The Fridge”. There are several of these areas, but always come prepared. They will put you up against several rounds and waves of tough enemies. If you can survive up to round 5 and complete the Circle of Slaughter you will be rewarded with some extremely useful loot.

The first time you encounter the Circle of Slaughter you will be given side quest to complete the first arena against bandits. You can also come back to this later on once you’ve leveled up your character. There are also two other Circle of Slaughter arenas, one in the wildlife preserve and one in Eridum Blight. These all vary in difficulty, so if you’re having a hard time, bring a friend or open your lobby to populate extra players.

High-Flying Hurler
Kill a flying enemy with a thrown Tediore weapon

To begin with, this may seem quite difficult, but it’s really not hard at all. Before you can attempt this you will need to find yourself a Tediore weapon. These weapons are rather unique due to the way they’re used. They function just like any other weapon, but to reload them you will throw the weapon which will cause extra damage to whoever it’s thrown at.

Sabre Rattler
Kill 100 enemies with the Sabre turret

This is the Commando’s ability if you start out as him and you use the ability frequently this will unlock in no time.

Phased and Confused Phased and Confused
Phaselock 100 enemies

Same type as Commando but you need to be the Siren and phaselock 100 shouldn’t take long either.

So Much Blood!
Gunzerk continuously for 90 seconds

For this you will need to be around level 25-30 as this requires the last skill in the far right tree in the Gunzerker skills. This will be easily achieved in a Slaughter match you will see a ticker when you activate Zerker’s ability when you get a kill it will go up a little bit for each kill just make sure to time the kills for a long time in the ability.

Unseen Predator
Remain in Zero’s Deception mode for ten seconds straight

Same with the Gunzerker ability the one skill that will make you last longer in Deception mode is on the far right and the last skill you can get (The Bloodshed Tree I believe). This will be easy in a Slaughter round as well, go in deception with the right skills you can one hit anything (Has to be kills with melee only) you will deal a lot of damage in his mode plus with some skills shouldn’t be hard.

Build Buster Build Buster
Kill a Constructor without it ever building another bot

The first area that you can earn this is during the side quest “Out of Body Experience”. Once you return to the bloodshot stronghold for a second time, either through another side quest or through exploration, you will come across a bot being beating on your path. Kill the bot and the enemies beating on it, then collect the A.I Core that drops. From here it will then give you the side quest mentioned above.

All you have to do from here on out is follow the makers to the construction bot. At first the construction bot will spit out a few minions to attack you, but once they’re destroyed, the construction bot shouldn’t produce more.

If you’re having difficulty fighting the construction bot you can use the same method as the video below. There is a gap between to storage containers just at the bottom of the stairs where you can buy ammo. You can shoot the bot through the gap in the containers to make this a lot easier if going solo and at a lower level. You will run into several more of these on your travels, but this is the first one that you can do early.

Goliath, Meet David Goliath, Meet David
Allow a Goliath to level up four times before killing him

So here’s another solution which should be a lot easier than some of the others. Even though Goliaths are strong, they can be killed quite quickly by other foes. So I found an alternative which is a little later on in the game, but it requires no trial and error to get the technique to work.

You will need to progress the story up until you meet Tiny Tina and obtain the next part of the “Catch A Train” quest. From here you will need to collect two missiles from a hideout across from where you started. As soon as you enter, kill the larger enemies, then wait for the Goliath to appear. Shoot off his mask, then have him chase you out into the fields. From here you can lure him into the areas with the Varkids, which will allow him to enrage further through his transformations without you having to do anything.

For a Goliath to level up, it seems that he needs to start attacking other enemies or yourself. The more enemies he inflicts damage to, the more enraged he will become. Once he reaches the Fatal GOD-liath you can then kill him for the achievement/trophy. So make sure that you progress through the following levels of his transformation. If you kill him at any point or he dies before GOD-liath you will need to start over with another Goliath.

  • Goliath
  • Raging Goliath
  • Badass Goliath
  • Super Badass Goliath
  • Ultimate Badass Goliath
  • GOD-liath

Definitely An Italian Plumber Definitely An Italian Plumber
Kill Donkey Mong

Donkey Mong is another rare create that can be found in the world on Pandora. He only appears in the Eridium Blight area of the game. So you will need to progress through the story up until this point to find him. As he’s a random spawning enemy, he will only show up once in a while, but you can teleport back to the Sanctuary and re-visit the same area until he appears.

As you enter Eridium Blight for the first time, you will find a Catch-A-Ride in front of you down the road. Once you get here, spawn a bandit truck, then follow the road to a door on your right. You can’t really miss it as it’s right next to the general safe area. As you enter this door you will now be in the area where Donkey Mong will spawn.

If he doesn’t spawn at any point of entering this area, return to Sanctuary, then re-visit the area. He may appear the first time, or me may appear on your 10th time visiting this area. You can also quit the game and return at a later point to see if he want to show his face. Once he does spawn, just kill him with any method you see fit. He’s a little tougher than standard bullymongs, so watch out for his barrels are they’re a one hit kill for lower level players.

Cute Loot Cute Loot
Kill a Chubby

A chubby isn’t quite what you would expect. They’re not just one creature, and they won’t always appear due to their rare nature. They only appear at night, and only show once in a while. The more players that you have in your lobby, the more likely a chubby variant will appear. Once a chubby does appear, just kill it for a sizable reward, and the achievement/trophy. Be warned, only one player can earn this, so if you’re playing with other people, and one of them kills a chubby before you do, they will be rewarded.

One place that is detailed in the video below is the Caustic Caverns. You may find a chubby here digging around in the dump truck in the nest area. Though as they’re quite random, it’s possible you may not. They also show up in the slaughter arenas, so just keep looking and remember they come out at night.

Badass Ranks & Challenges

Token Gesture
Redeem 25 tokens

The Badass leveling system is a new system to Borderlands. This system will allow you to level up your skills even further through completing challenges. It’s basically the challenge system from the first game, but with even more rewards. To reach 25 Badass tokens you will need to reach a Badass 330 to obtain 25 tokens.

This will come naturally, but if you want to speed up the process, just check your challenges from the Badass ranking screen and work towards them.

Challenge Accepted Challenge Accepted
Complete level 1 of all non-level-specific challenges with a single character

This is by far the most time-consuming thing that you will need to do apart from level up several characters to level 30. For this you will need to complete over 100 different challenges. For this you only need to complete the first level of the provided list. Most of these challenges will come with natural progression through the game. So you should only really worry about this section until you’ve completed the game at least once. This will give you plenty of time and allow you to earn a large chunk of challenges without having to think about them.

Click Here for the full list of challenges that relate to this achievement/trophy.

Sugar Daddy
Tip Moxxi $10,000

Once you reach Sanctuary, make your way through the center and look for the bar in the back. You can’t really miss it as it has a huge Moxxi sign. Once inside, just to the right of Moxxi on the counter you will find a tip jar. From here, all you have to do is save up the cash, then tip her $10,000 dollars.

Decked Out
Have Purple-rated gear or better equipped in every slot

There are eight slots in total that you need to fill with purple (very rare) items. You will need to unlock all four gun slots which come with progression through the story, then you will need to have a purple level item as relic, grenade mod,  class mod and shield. Once you have each of these items are purple or above this will unlock.

Tribute To A Vault Hunter
Get an item from Michael Mamaril

After locating Sanctuary, you will be given a mission to release the city from Scooter. If you’re lucky Michael Mamaril will be stood in Scooters repair bay, but he appears in various other locations around town. Once you locate him, just interact with him and he will give you a weapon and this will unlock. He can also be found in Roland’s house once unlocked, as well as various other locations. The video below will show you where to find him if he’s in Roland’s house.

What does it mean? What Does it Mean?
I can’t even capture it on my camera.

How Do I Look? How Do I Look?
Unlock 10 customization items

Customization items are fairly common, you can buy them, find them and they’re also rewards from some side quests. Just obtain 10 customization items for your character and this will unlock. Just make sure once you obtain the items, you unlock them by going into your backpack and activating them. If you manage to collect 10, but don’t activate them for use in the customization station, this will unlock until you do so.

Friendship Rules Friendship Rules
Revive someone from “Fight for Your Life!” that is on your friends list

This is fairly straight forward, all you have to do is invite a friend into your game who is on your friends list, then pick them up once they fall into the “Fight for Your Life!” stance. Once you revive them this will unlock.

If you don’t know anyone with the game, but have a second controller, just make a second account and add it to your friends list. From here you can just play split screen and revive the second account once it falls.

Better Than Money Better Than Money
Purchase 5 items from the black market

At some point in the game you will find a chunk of Eridium. This rare material can be used at the Black Market in Sanctuary to buy upgrades for your guns and backpack. These are fairly useful as you will want as much ammo as possible and the backpack space, even though it’s limited at 27 slots is extremely useful.

The Black Market is located at the rear of Sanctuary near Moxxi’s bar. It’s just a door, so it’s easy to overlook, but once you do find it, just use the Eridium you’ve collected to buy various updates from the dealer. Once you buy 5 items this will unlock.

Up High, Down Low Up High, Down Low
Give Claptrap a high five.

Can be earned in 2 confirmed times so far, first is when you get to Sanctuary for the first time, you’ll do a mission for Clap Trap (not really a mission just sit and wait) after he’s done talking follow him around till it says “Press :y:” to give him a high five.

Feels Like The First Time
Opened the chest at the bus stop in Fyrestone

When you get to Fyrestone near the lift to get on top of the road, you will also notice the place as it’s near the place where you have to fight Saturn and one of Jack’s audio files is in the trash right by or next to the chest. Get on top of that building and open the red chest and you will unlock this.
