Crafting the Druid Stone
Author Notes

This collection of achievements is heavily timed gated behind a new item called the Druid Runestone. These stones can only be crafted once a day, from five fragments earned in Draconis Mons. You will need to pay 1,000 unbound magic to the vendor at the landing point for one piece. The other four pieces are contained within the Renowned Heart vendors. To earn these items you will have to complete the hearts on a daily basis.

This collection will take at least 13+ days to complete.

Table of Conents

  1. The Druid Stone
  2. Awakening the Druid Stone
  3. Sprouting the Druid Stone
  4. A Henge Away from Home

This guide is a supplemental guide to our Flashpoint achievement guide. This guide covers everything you need to know to craft this backpiece.

There are several parts of this guide where you will need to repeat certain requirements for each collection.

Druid Runestones

Before you can create a Druid Runestone, you first need to collect the fragments. The first can be bought from the Unbound Magic Collector in Mariner’s Landing. The other four fragments are unlocked within the Renowned Heart vendors. You can earn these rune pieces once a day from the vendors, so repeating them multiple times will be required as you progress the collection.

Once you have five fragments, combine them in your inventory to create a full Druid Runestone.

Fire Orchid  Blossoms & Seeds

Throughout the map Draconis Mons you will find Fire Orchid nodes. These nodes reset daily, but you will need to farm them for extra blossoms and seeds.

You can buy bundles of Fire Orchid Blossoms from the heart vendors once you complete them. I suggest you do this on top of farming the nodes to make sure you have enough while progressing the collection.

Champions

Throughout the map there are various champions you need to kill. Killing them will drop random items tied to the collection.

You can see all of their locations marked on the map below:

The Druid Stone Crafting Achievement GuideThe Druid Stone
Pay tribute to and learn from the druid spirits in Draconis Mons to cultivate your relationship with nature through the Druid Stone.

This is a multi part collection that requires you to gather various items to craft the Druid’s Stone backpiece. This will take several days due to time gates within the collections.

Volcano’s Heart

This first item is earned through completing the last story instance.

The Druid’s Story

After creating the Druid Stone, take it to Kodama.

Kodama (1 Druid Runestone and 1 Fire Orchid Blossom)

This NPC deals with two items. One is the Druid Stone which you should create first. Doing so will reduce any extra running around you need to do. Interacting with the NPC with the runestone in your inventory will reward you with “The Druid’s Story.

The second item from this NPC comes from talking to Kodama with Fire Orchid Blossoms in your inventory. You will be given separate options for these items.

Liriodendrom (1 Fire Orchid Blossom)

Head to the Peace Grounds point of interest. Here you will find Liriodendrom in the middle of a pool below the waterfall. Offer the NPC a Fire Orchid Blossom.

Broadleaf (1 Fire Orchid Blossom)

High above the south-western Savage Rise is where you will find Broadleaf. He’s just below the Golemancer’s Tomb entrance on a large rock sticking out over the Savage Rise.

Talk to Broadleaf with a Fire Orcid Blossom to claim your collection item.

Rosewood (1 Fire Orchid Blossom)

Unlike the others, Rosewood is very easy to locate. This NPC is sitting on a branch above the Ancient Hollow Waypoint. You can use the jumping mushrooms to reach the branch.

Offer Rosewood a Fire Orchid Blossom.

After completing this section, you can salvage your backpiece to earn back 1,000 unbound magic to use for your next collection.

Orchard’s

There are three soil locations outside of Dragonis Mons. Unlike the propagation requirements, you will need to take three seeds for each of the locations.

Dierdre’s Orchard

Hidden away in Dierdre’s Steps. This hidden garden can only be accessed through a set of portals after killing the enemy guarding it. The elemental north of Herot’s Ascent is easy to access and tends to be active often enough.

Once side Dierdre’s Steps, look for the small hidden garden located near the waypoint. Interact with the small tree in the middle of the garden to plant the seeds.

Seeds Propagation

Throughout Draconis Mons there are six fertile soil patches that you can plant Fire Orchid Seeds. You will need to plant the seeds, which will unlock the collection, but also give you access to a Fire Orchid Blossom node.

Seaside

You can reach this fairly easy from the Ancient Hollows waypoint. You can drop down almost directly to the soil patch from the level above. It’s just west of the Frosting Pedestal on a multi tier island.

Wind Rider Ledge

There are several ways to get to this ledge, but the most straight forward is to glide down from the Scalding Gorge, or use the ley-line from the Ancient Hollow on the western edge to get high enough.

From the Ancient Hollow you can see the ledge above the Wind Rider platform. Make sure you have the Oakheart Reach and use either method to reach the platform. If you miss, you can use the reach to climb your way back up to the platform.

Rata Arcanum

Head to Rata Arcanum, once there, look for the Asura Gate located in the north-east of the area. Just behind the gate is a small cave that you can reach by using the ramps and the Oakheart’s Reach. You will know when you’re close as there’s a large group of neutral grubs outside.

There are many ways into this area, including the use of Thermal Tubes from Heathen’s Hold and gliding.

Druid Stone Crafting Achievement Guide

Seaside Ledges

Head towards the Druids Grotto point of interest. You will have been here several times to talk with Komada. Instead of entering the grotto, head north and cross over to the ledge ahead with Reef Riders. Follow the wall around to the right and you will see the fertile soil in front of you.

Druid Stone Crafting Achievement Guide

Nu II

This vault is an abandoned cave, to reach it take the Heathen’s Hold waypoint. From here, use the thermal tube next to the waypoint, and the one on Titan’s Throat. This will land your right outside the abandoned vault. Follow the path inside the vault until you reach the soil patch.

Druid Stone Crafting Achievement Guide

Ancient Hollow

You can reach this patch from the Ancient Hollow waypoint. Once there, use any of the jumping mushrooms to reach the ledge with Rosewood. After accessing the ledge you will see two jumping mushrooms on the western side of the platform. These lead to an updraft that takes you between the two levels.

On your right after taking the updraft you should see a green area with lots of mushroom enemies. Head further west on this ledge. You will find the fertile soil on the furthest edge from the updraft.
