Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide The Shatterer
Complete 10 Shatterer achievements.

To earn this and the branded backpiece you will need to complete 10 of the 12 achievements below. This is something that will come with time and patience as you won’t be able to earn all of these within a single run.

Two achievements need gliding Masteries, so you won’t be able to earn this unless you have access them.

Kills

Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide Bash the Dragon
Defeat the Shatterer 10 times.

This is fairly simple, just defeat the boss. The first few runs you take part in may be a little iffy, but show up a little early and you should be able to get into a high population map.

Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide Branded Bane
Kill 500 Branded during the Shatterer battle.

During the fight the Shatterer will summon minions, or Branded as most know them by. These enemies flood the area and offer very little in the way of a challenge, but there’s plenty of them.

You will need to kill 500 of these enemies while fighting the boss, the easier less stress filled

Misc

Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide Burns Blunder
Stand in the wrong place when the Shatter Lands.

Before the Shatterer lands, make your way over to his general location. If you’re uncertain of the exact place to stand, you can also stand on the pile of rocks to the Shatterer’s right.

Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide No-Fly Zone
Break the Shatter’s defiance bar 20 times, preventing its Shard Storm attack.

This is something that will take some coordination and multiple runs. Every so often a break bar will appear below the Shatterer’s health bar. To break this bar you will need to use hard Crowd Control skills such as Daze, Fear, Knockback, Stun, Pull, Taunt.

You may find most maps can’t coordinate enough to complete this, so keep attempting and call out when the break bar appears. You only have a couple of seconds to break it before he takes off and starts his Shard Storm attack.

If you happen to have access to your gliding materies, you can also use skill 1 on your gliding mastery attack to break the defiance bar.

You will need to repeat this 20 times over multiple fights.

Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide Smash the Dragon
Complete the fight without Shatter ever taking off and using Shard Storm.

This is the hardest and probably the most tedious achievement of the bunch. Much like “No-Fly Zone”, you will need to break the Shatterer’s Defiance Bar. But instead of breaking it once, you need to break it multiple times throughout the fight and stop him from taking off and starting his Shard Storm.

This will take high level coordination and a lot of Crowd Control skills from the map to complete.

Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide Shattering Setup
Use the mortar, turret, and jump pad at Lowland Burns during the Shatterer fight.

All these of these objects are located next to the waypoint [Lowland Burns]. Arriving early will allow you to pick a turret or mortar. Other players will turn up and sit on these weapons, so if you managed to get on one, stay on it until you have your achievement progression.

You just need to use these weapons once and move on, unless you want to use them throughout the fight. Players will often jump off these weapons when a crystal phase comes up, so this is a good time to take advantage of them.

You can earn this over multiple fights, so if you miss using either don’t fret there’s always next time. To earn the gliding portion you will need the mastery unlocked.

Required Mastery: Gliding

Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide Lightning Reflexes
Dodge the Shatterer’s Focused Lightning Attack 40 times while gliding.

Once you enter the area, use the jump pads near the mortars and turrets. While airborne activate your stealth gliding by dodging mid-air. Keep doing this while you attack from the air as if you don’t it’s highly possible that you will be shot down with a bolt of lightning. This is something that will come with patience and taking part in the fight.

As long as you’re using your stealth gliding while in the air you shouldn’t run into any issues with this. Just manage your stamina and stay in stealth while up close to the Shatterer.

Required Mastery: Gliding 4 (Stealth Gliding)

Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide Shattering Evasion
Defeat the Shatterer without ever being imprisoned in a crystal.

To avoid being imprisoned, take the ranged approach to this fight. Use gliders, turrets and mortars. He will only imprison you if you’re within melee range.

Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide Crystal Clear
Break 40 people out of crystal prisons created by the Shatterer.

While in melee range of the Shatterer, allies and yourself may be turned into crystal shards. These shards are often quite hard to see and have very low health, so this can be a little tricky.

Once your allies are imprisoned you need to break them out by inflicting damage to this crystals. You may earn this randomly through using the jump pads and glider. You may also earn this while using the mortars and turrets.

Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide Medic!
Provide 50 med kits to your allies using the mortars or the glider bomber kit.

Providing your allies with med kits is something you should add to your rotation. Gliding and mortars both have a second skill which allows you to target and heal allies within the AoE you fire. You will need to provide 50 kits and have players heal with them.

Guild Wars 2 Shatterer Unleashed Achievement Guide Crystal Healing Denier
Destroy 20 pulsating crystal nodes during the Shatterer battle.

During the fight the Shatterer will spawn large crystals, you can’t really miss them due to their size. There are five in total which need to be destroyed. They can only be destroyed once the Defiance Bar has been broken.

This is something that will come over time, just watch for them as they spawn often and should always be a priority.

Note: These crystals are a little temperamental. Earning credit seems to be random and possibly buggy.
